This 8-day holiday blends a brief stay in the vibrant Greek capital with a trip to the fabulous volcanic island of Milos, in the Aegean Sea. This is a semi-private/ small group tour in which you will first visit Athens, included a full visit of the impressive historic center and Acropolis Hill, and walks off the most commercial routes.

Knowledgeable local guides will show you beautiful and interesting spots that do not feature on tour guidebooks. One day will also be dedicated to the impressive Athens Coast, with stops at the natural spa of Vouliagmenis’ Lake and of course at the Temple of Poseidon, the Southernmost point of the Attica region. During your stay in Athens, you will also have the chance to taste mouth-watering Greek gourmet and traditional food.

Milos, where you will travel next, is a colorful, exciting Cycladic world-class island. Supposed to be the birthplace of Venus (de Milo), it is unique in many aspects. Butterfly-shaped, it is a quintessential Greek island with many distinctive features: a rich history, colorful characteristic fishermen dwellings next to the classic white-blue washed cubic houses of the Cyclades, volcanic formations, a jaw-dropping coastal line and of course an incredibly tasteful cuisine.

A rather tranquil affair, except some movida in July and August, it is particularly recommended for couples and families, or simply for relaxing sea holidays. In addition, next to Milos there are two other Aegean gems, the tiny quaint Kimolos and the natural paradise of the uninhabited islet of Polyegos. You will be able to visit both and swim in their turquoise waters on a sailboat day tour. Other optional activities and experiences include local cuisine cooking classes, kayak tours, an adventure tour in the wildest areas of the island and a geological tour.
