This is a day immersion in quintessential Greek nature. At the end of the tour you will feel relaxed and have filled your eyes with images that will linger in your memory
We will comfortably pick-you up at your place at 8 AM with our vehicle and tour leader. We will then head West and passing past Corinth – we can stop there to gaze at the deep channel -, enter the Argolis region. After an approx. 2-hour drive we will arrive at a tranquil area overlooking the Aegean Sea, and from there we will start our hike. An expert tour guide will be with you along the whole hike route.
The hike takes place in a pine forest, partly next to the sea, in a typical Mediterranean landscape where you will be able to spot beautiful plants and flowers. The walk will last approx. 3 hours, and is of average difficulty with only a small part ascending. If warm and if you feel like, you can swim in a beautiful secluded beach along our way. The hike will end on another beach, where we will enjoy a pic-nic provided by us.
After that, the driver will join us. Next, we will visit the impressive ancient site of Apollo Asclepius in Epidavros, where you will be amazed by the well-preserved theater, worldwide famous for its impeccable acoustics.
We will then start our return to Athens, with expected arrival time 6 PM.
In winter, the order of the tour parts is inverted, first ww visit the Epidauros site and then do the hike.
You should wear a comfortable outfit, long pants, a hat, trekking/ sport shoes. You can also take with you swimwear, sunglasses, suncream, a light/ small towel if you wish to swim. Water and food is provided by us, as well as a first-aid kit.
